Then how do you keep on living? If you believe evolution you believe you are just an accident. That's got to do something to self esteem! You lack so much purpose found only in Jesus Christ! Also, how could we have a perfectly orderly universe without a creator? Its like throwing fire crackers in a bucket of legos and getting perfect little houses. The truth is there has to be a God. There is no other logical option. The only reason you believe evolution is you want to be the ruler of your own life.
Truth is, there really is a God who loves you more than you can imagine and wants so desperately to have a relationship with you. Don't turn him down.

hmmmm.... Nedd, your angst from 2008 sounds similar to one Holden Caulfield's in the Catcher in the Rye. And, most assuredly, it sounds similar to my own opinions, when I was 13 (eh-hem... in 1986). Truth is that yes, this world is screwed. However, we can do stuff to make some kind of positive impact on our surroundings. I think those actions are what make our lives worthwhile. I'm a Catholic, but I do not believe that non-believers perish in the 'Lake of Fire'. I think that's B.S. If God is the only one who knows true forgiveness, as it says in the old testament, then I doubt He gives a shit whether or not you believe, while you're on Earth. I bet He would care a lot more about what you do, than what you believe. I hope the last ten years allowed you some time for introspection, and outward observations. You sound like a smart dude.
